Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our 2 week stay at Rookley. The bungalow was 1st class. The staf were very helpful and fiendly. The restaurant and bar were also good. We have stayed in a lot of similar places over the last few years and yours is the best by far. In fact we are coming back for the new year week

Accolade for Rookley Country Park campsite
ROOKLEY Country Park is one of the best holiday campsites in the country, according to a national Sunday newspaper, which named the Island campsite as one of the top ten in the UK.
The Sunday Mirror described the four-star holiday village as “fun for all”, praising its weekly firework display and vibrant fishing community, which offers lessons to beginners.
Sian Caldicott, of the park’s parent company, Island View Holidays, said: “We are delighted to be recognised as one of the best holiday sites in the country.”
She attributed the park’s success to the wide range of activities on offer for residents, such as swimming and crazy golf.
She said “It is great to have our efforts recognised by a national newspaper as well as our visitors.”

Best holiday ever
My mother and I have just had, when we can only describe as one of our best holidays ever.
We stayed in one of the Penthouse Apartments at Bay Close Court, Freshwater Bay and really must congratulate you on the excellent standard of accommodation.
Every aspect of comfort and customer needs were taken into consideration. The flat was well equipped, easily accessible and it was a plus to have your own parking space. Also the view across the bay was magnificent.
We enjoyed it so much, I have actually now booked a first floor apartment for a short mid week break in October, just for myself.
Once again the service I received was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. A really big thank you for the first class accommodation and facilities, first class friendly approachable staff and for, most importantly a first class holiday.

FANSTASTIC SERVICE & VALUE
Have just returned from Island View at Colwell Bay. The site is absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked again for next year. The staff and management of the parks, visited Rookley whilst on holiday were unbelieveably helpful and nothing was too much trouble!
Will be recommending to all friends and family. Thank you again for a fantastic venue.

Having just returned from a stay at Rookley Park with you we feel that we must comment on your park and facilities that were on offer. From arrival to departure we thought that everything was great. GREAT SUPPORT
Have just returned from Rookley Country Park where they could not have been more obliging. Hurt myself whilst on holiday (not on the park) and they allowed us to stay on whilst I was fit enough to drive home. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. The management and the staff were excellent, will definitely be returning soon.

TO ALL AT ISLAND VIEW HOLIDAYS - Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you on behalf ot the Beccehamian Mini Rugby Touring Party for the great welcome and accommodation that you provided all our tourists this past weekend.
The feed back we have received has been extremely positive and everyone enjoyed staying at Hillgrove and Field Lane Holiday Parks. The caravans were lovely and clean and very well appointed. I have to say from a personal point of view, I think that the bed was the best caravan bed I have ever slept in..

I have just returned to work from our two week break at bungalow 38.
I would like to say how good the break was.
The accommodation was first class, it was very clean and everything we needed, indeed more was included. The staff from yourself who took my booking, to all staff I came across, your bar staff, entertainment, and those working in the lakeside restaurant , were always pleasant and seemed happy to assist in anything they could. It gave the impression that they are more than happy to work at Rookley and this can only give a good impression to your clients.

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for the lovely holiday over February half term at Island View Bungalows. Everything from start to finish was brilliant, even the weather was kind to us. The bungalows are really comfortable - home from home and the lady in charge there is so nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay on the Island and would certainly be booking another holiday in the future.

I am writing to tell you how impressed my husband and I were with our holiday at Hillgrove. I booked at the very last minute and the lady on the phone was very helpful and obliging. The caravan and ferry were booked and paid for with no problems and the confirmation sent immediately. Everything was really well organised and nothing was too much trouble. We have just returned from a 14 day holiday at Rookley, my wife an I read some adverse reports on another website after we had booked our holiday. Let me put the record straight, we are both pensioners the park is superbly clean & tidy the staff are friendly and helpful the restaurant menu was first class nothing was to much triouble: the maintenence staff were very helpful. Our first visit to the Island we are definitly returning to Rookley Park, thank you for a lovely holiday

On May 5th 2010 my son was married and the wedding celebrations were held at the Lakeside, Rookley Country Park.
I am writing to tell you how pleased we all were with the whole day. Everything went perfectly and special thanks must go to Clare and the wedding arrangement team who worked very hard to make it all happen.
